A mid-1800 postal stop, made on behalf of  Maria Luigia of Austria to guarantee rest and refreshment to carter men, who was passing these impervious and fascinating roads, links between Piacenza province and Liguria.

 

Since 2004 Locanda dei 2 is a B&B and restaurant, where you will find a true moment of relax and tranquillity from this frenetic world. 

After a careful renovation Luca and Nicla brought to light the wonderful cut of this Locanda, entirely made by stone, without touching the original structure.

The Locanda is always been a meeting place, both for the cart men and the people who lived on these mountains.
